Then step into the DarkMigo theme! This beloved community creation transforms Cockatrice into a stylish haven for dark mode enthusiasts, and installing it is surprisingly simple. Prepare to shed the light and embrace the shadows, Planeswalker!

Before You Begin:

• Download the Theme: Head over to DarkMingo’s GitHub repository: https://github.com/mingomongo/DarkMingo-Theme-for-Cockatrice. There, you’ll find the download link for the latest version.
• Unzip the Folder: Once downloaded, unzip the file to reveal a folder containing several subfolders. We’ll be using one of these later.

Installing the Theme:

1. Locate the Themes Folder: Cockatrice stores its themes in specific locations depending on your operating system:

1. Windows: C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Cockatrice\Cockatrice\themes
2. Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Cockatrice/Cockatrice/themes
3. Linux: ~/.local/share/Cockatrice/Cockatrice/themes
4. If the “themes” folder doesn’t exist, simply create it!
5. Drag and Drop: From the unzipped folder, locate the subfolder named “DarkMingo-Theme.” Simply drag and drop this entire folder into the “themes” directory you identified in step 1.
6. Launch Cockatrice: Restart Cockatrice, and voila! The DarkMigo theme should be automatically applied.

Troubleshooting:

• Mac Users: Some Mac users encounter three vertical lines overlapping the deck editor after installing DarkMingo. This is a known issue and unfortunately not fixable. Rest assured, it doesn’t affect gameplay!
• Alignment Issues: Across all platforms, you might find slight alignment quirks with lists and their headers. Again, this is due to limitations within Cockatrice’s code and not something DarkMingo can adjust.
